This policy explains storage used by the SafetyFluent application. It covers cookies and browser local storage, not just advertising cookies. Read it with our Privacy Policy.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small values a browser can send back with website requests. Local storage remains in the browser and is accessible to scripts on the same origin. Persistent storage can remain after you close the browser; session cookies normally end with the browser session, subject to browser session-restoration behavior. Storage can contain or be linked to personal information. We do not ask you to save passwords or full payment-card details in our course forms.
Storage in the current application
The entries below describe our application code. An entry is used only when the corresponding feature runs; visiting a public course page does not necessarily create every entry.
Administrator authentication
ltw_admin_sessionFirst-party cookie; necessary for administrator sign-in.
Signed session information, including administrator username and expiry. HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict. Expires after eight hours; administrator logout clears it.
Language preference
learn-to-work-languageFirst-party local storage; saves the language you select.
Stored until replaced, removed through browser settings or evicted by the browser. There is no automatic time-based expiry. A language preference does not mean every course is translated.
Study and demonstration state
learn-to-work-course-access; learn-to-work-tutor-credits; learn-to-work-final-exam-active; learn-to-work-bbp-*; learn-to-work-verified-nameFirst-party local storage used by relevant study, feedback and demonstration screens.
Depending on the screen, this can include an order reference and email, submitted name, local credit count, exam state, evaluation reference or study timer. No automatic time-based expiry. These local values are not themselves proof of a paid enrollment or an issued certificate.
Sidebar preference
sidebar_stateFirst-party cookie set when a screen using this sidebar remembers its open/closed state.
Stores the layout choice for up to seven days. It is not an advertising identifier.
Hosting, sign-in and other providers
Sites authentication and hosting infrastructure can use separate session and security mechanisms. Their names and lifetimes are controlled by the provider and are not fully represented by the first-party inventory above. The browser's site-data controls show the cookies actually present on your device. Provider processing is described in our Privacy Policy. Administrator Stripe sandbox checkout opens Stripe's own page; live payments are not enabled. External links, including videos and Construction Plan Studio, lead to services with their own storage and privacy practices.
Catalog statistics are not advertising cookies
When you select a course, our server can record the course identifier and time to order the catalog by recent interest. That event table does not store your name, email or account identifier and does not set a tracking cookie. The network request still passes through hosting infrastructure, which may process IP addresses and request logs separately. This is not a claim that all technical traffic is anonymous.
Advertising and optional tracking
The current SafetyFluent application does not install advertising pixels, cross-site advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics scripts. We do not treat continuing to browse as consent to optional tracking. If optional technologies requiring consent are introduced, we will provide an appropriate choice before activation and a way to withdraw that choice. Necessary sign-in and security functions are separate from optional advertising consent.
Your choices
You can inspect, block or remove cookies and local storage using your browser's privacy or site-data settings. Clear data for this site's address, not all websites, if you only want to reset SafetyFluent. Blocking storage can prevent sign-in, reset preferences or disrupt local study/demo features. It does not delete server-side enrollments, assessments or certificate records; contact us for those requests. Sign out on shared devices and consider removing saved site data.
Browser privacy signals and updates
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are different signals. The current application has no sale/sharing or targeted-advertising program to opt out of, and does not use DNT to change necessary operations. GPC does not clear stored preferences or learning records. We will not interpret it as consent to tracking. Any future sale/sharing or advertising integration must be reviewed for applicable opt-out and consent requirements before activation. We update this policy when storage practices change.
