Understand what your online course and completion record do—and do not—provide. Read this notice together with the scope on your course page and our Terms & Conditions.
Training, not permission to perform hazardous work
SafetyFluent provides online learning and assessments within each course's stated scope. The course-specific notice shown before enrollment is important: awareness, theory and practical qualification are different things. Do not treat completion as permission to operate equipment, perform electrical work, enter controlled areas, conduct rescue or supervise a lift.
Employer responsibilities
For the actual assignment, the employer must determine the applicable requirements and provide or arrange any required practical, hands-on, site- and equipment-specific training, evaluation, supervision and authorization before assigning work. Those requirements depend on the task, equipment, worksite conditions, applicable rules and employer procedures.
What the certificate confirms
A SafetyFluent certificate records completion of this online course and its assessment. It is not an OSHA-issued card, professional license or proof of hands-on qualification. Employer or regulatory acceptance is not guaranteed. The current online assessment workflow does not independently verify the learner's identity. Six months of lesson access is not a regulatory retraining interval, certificate-validity guarantee or record-retention limit.
Standards, affiliation and instructor credentials
References to OSHA, FCC, ANSI, NFPA, manufacturers and other organizations identify learning sources, not their approval, accreditation or endorsement of SafetyFluent. An OSHA-aligned description refers to the identified topics, not blanket workplace compliance. Individual instructor credentials do not turn our independent courses into another organization's certification program. Check the specific course description for what is and is not included.
Current instructions and site-specific decisions
Requirements vary with the activity, jurisdiction, equipment and worksite. Review the applicable current rules, manufacturer instructions, rated capacities and employer procedures before work. A lesson, illustration or example is not an engineered lift plan, structural approval, exposure survey, equipment inspection or site-specific risk assessment. If instructions conflict or something is unclear, stop and obtain clarification from the responsible qualified person; do not resolve a hazardous-work decision by guessing from a course image.
AI Tutor, examples and linked calculators
Study-assistant responses can be incomplete or incorrect and must be checked against the lesson and authoritative sources. The current Tutor demonstrations are not a live expert service. AI does not replace required access to a knowledgeable human trainer, including interactive questions where applicable. Illustrations may be simplified or AI-generated and are not proof that a depicted arrangement is safe. A linked calculator or planning tool has its own scope and terms; its output is not approval of an actual job or a substitute for required engineering review.
Health, emergencies and translations
The platform is not an emergency service and does not provide individualized medical or legal advice. Follow your workplace emergency arrangements and seek appropriate professional assistance. Do not delay emergency response while consulting the course or Tutor. A selected language preference does not guarantee a complete translation. Ask for clarification if a translation or instruction is unclear; employers must ensure required training is understandable to workers.
External resources and intellectual property
Links to standards, manuals, videos and other sites are supplied as references. Their content, availability and privacy practices can change. A link is not endorsement, permission to redistribute a source, or a transfer of copyright. Educational use is not automatic permission to reproduce protected material; rights and any applicable exception must be assessed for the particular use. Submit a rights concern with the affected page, material and information identifying your interest.
Accuracy, corrections and your rights

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, reckless or willful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
