These terms explain the rules for using SafetyFluent, purchasing courses, completing assessments, and receiving verifiable certificates.
Paid enrollment is not yet open. The platform operator and contracting party is Safety Fluent LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. Our Privacy Policy describes current information handling. See the Refund Policy for the planned purchase terms. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable education-provider rules take priority over inconsistent commercial terms.
Certificate renewal and required retraining
Bloodborne Pathogens certificates have a one-year provider validity period from completion. Annual training must occur within one year of previous training, with additional instruction when exposure-affecting tasks or procedures change. Exam-only renewal does not replace required annual training, workplace information or interactive access to a knowledgeable trainer. Other course certificates have a two-year provider renewal period; this is not an OSHA-prescribed validity period. Applicable law, state-plan rules, manufacturer instructions and employer programs may require earlier training or reassessment. Required instruction, practical evaluation and demonstrated proficiency cannot be waived by passing an online examination. Expired provider validity does not erase the historical completion record. Lesson-access periods are separate. Course-specific retraining notices form part of the course description.
Training scope and employer supplements
The public course-specific scope notice and outline form part of the course description. Online completion does not replace required workplace instruction, practical evaluation or employer authorization. For bloodborne pathogens training, employers must arrange required workplace-specific information and interactive access to a knowledgeable trainer during training; AI Tutor is a study aid, not a substitute for that person. Six-month course access is a platform access period, not a regulatory retraining interval or a records-retention period. Employers must retain required training evidence independently of platform access. Personal instructor credentials do not accredit this platform or authorize it to issue another organization's credentials. Separate practical services are not included unless expressly confirmed in a separate agreement.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using SafetyFluent, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Accounts and identity verification
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You may not impersonate another person, share an account for course completion, or allow someone else to complete an assessment for you. Email and SMS verification are not currently available and no SafetyFluent credential should be described as email- or phone-verified. If a future certificate workflow requires a legal name or photo, the applicable collection notice and consent will be shown before the information is submitted.
3. Course purchases, employer seats, and access
Courses may be purchased for one learner or as an employer seat package. Each purchased seat may be assigned once to an individual learner and may not be resold. For a paid employer seat package, each unassigned seat must be assigned within 12 calendar months of confirmed payment as shown in the order confirmation. When a seat is assigned, the learner receives six calendar months of course access from activation. An assigned seat is single-learner and cannot be transferred, and course access does not automatically renew or extend. Unassigned seats expire after their assignment deadline. Discounts are 10% for 5–9 same-course seats and 20% for 10 or more in one order; tiers do not stack. A completed credential record may remain available for verification under these Terms even after lesson access ends. AI Tutor is an optional add-on available only with an eligible purchased course; each submitted question uses one credit, and a $5 package adds 70 credits. Tutor credits are tied to the learner's course access, are not transferable, and do not represent cash value. Volume discounts, when offered, are calculated before applicable tax. The final taxable amount and rate depend on the product classification, billing address, and the jurisdictions where SafetyFluent is registered to collect tax. Do not redistribute course content or another learner's credential. Forms expressly offered for employer use may be completed and retained for internal training records.
4. Refund and cancellation policy
An individual purchase or unassigned employer seat may be cancelled within seven calendar days of purchase only if no course lesson has been opened and the seat has not been assigned. Once course access begins, a seat is assigned, an assessment is attempted, or a certificate is issued, the purchase is final except where applicable law requires otherwise, a duplicate or unauthorized charge is confirmed, or the platform has an unresolved technical failure covered below. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; associated tax is refunded when required. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.
5. Paid course completed but certificate not delivered
Do not purchase the course again. First confirm that all required lessons are complete, the final score meets the passing requirement, the learner name and public verification consent were provided, and the browser allows downloads. Then retry from My Workspace. If the certificate still cannot be created or downloaded, use the support contact below and provide the order number, learner email, course name, completion date, and a screenshot of the error. SafetyFluent will verify the completion record and restore access, regenerate the file, or manually reissue the credential. We aim to acknowledge the request within two business days and resolve it within ten business days. If a verified platform failure prevents delivery and cannot be corrected within ten business days, the affected seat price and applicable tax will be refunded. This remedy does not apply when completion, passing, consent, or account requirements were not met.
6. Learning content, OSHA status, and referenced resources
A course described as OSHA-aligned is designed to address identified topics from the OSHA standard or guidance named on that course page. The phrase does not mean that OSHA issued, approved, certified, or endorsed SafetyFluent, the course, its instructors, or its certificate. OSHA generally does not approve, certify, or endorse individual private trainers or training programs outside specifically identified authorization programs. References to government resources, agency tools, standards, organizations, or product names provide source and instructional context and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Employers remain responsible for determining which requirements apply, providing workplace-, equipment-, and task-specific procedures and instruction, evaluating competency when required, and giving learners access to qualified supervision and interactive questions where applicable. Learners must follow current law, employer policies, emergency plans, and authorized instructions. Course content is educational and is not medical, legal, or emergency advice.
7. Assessments, evaluation, and certificates
Assessment questions are balanced across major learning-outcome domains and may be randomized within those domains. A certificate is issued after all required lessons are completed, the learner passes the final assessment with at least 70%, and provides their name and consent to public credential verification. Up to three assessment attempts are available. This workflow does not independently verify identity. A SafetyFluent certificate records completion of the named course and the learner’s assessment result. It is not an OSHA Outreach card, government-issued credential, professional license, or independent proof of hands-on qualification, and it does not guarantee employment, regulatory acceptance, or employer authorization.
8. Certificate verification and public identity record
Certificates may include a QR code and unique credential ID linked to a public verification record. The verification record displays the learner-provided name, course, issue date, assessment score, credential ID, and status. The learner consents before starting the assessment. No identity photo is required by the current learner workflow. A matching record confirms platform completion, not independent identity verification. Credentials obtained through fraud or platform misuse may be revoked.
9. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the platform, bypass security, scrape or copy course content, submit malicious code, misuse the study assistant, or use the service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
10. Intellectual property
SafetyFluent and its licensors retain rights in their original materials. Third-party standards, manuals and images remain subject to their owners' rights; a reference link does not grant redistribution rights. Purchasing access gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the materials for learning.
11. Service availability
We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Features or content may be updated when needed for quality, security, or legal compliance.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafetyFluent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, or excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct or other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
13. Continuing education status
The course uses documented learning needs, measurable outcomes, assessment, learner evaluation, and completion records as continuing-education quality practices. SafetyFluent is not an IACET Accredited Provider, and neither the course nor its certificate awards an IACET CEU or academic credit. IACET accreditation applies to an organization after independent review, not automatically to a course that follows similar design practices.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The date below identifies the current version. Questions about these terms, refunds, or certificate delivery can be submitted through the support contact below. Material changes apply prospectively; additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
15. Payment confirmation and pricing
Paid enrollment is not yet enabled. A saved order, screenshot, pending payment or sandbox test is not proof of a settled purchase. When live checkout is enabled, access will depend on verified payment status and the assignment rules shown before purchase. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes and discounts must be disclosed before payment. Price changes apply to future purchases, not retroactive charges on an accepted order. If a material listing error prevents fulfillment, we will explain the issue and offer an appropriate correction or refund, subject to applicable law.
16. Your submissions and honest feedback
You retain rights in your submitted material. You authorize us to process it only as reasonably needed for the requested service, support, recordkeeping and lawful administration described in the Privacy Policy. Submission is not permission to sell your material, use your name or image in advertising, or publish private support messages as testimonials. Separate permission is needed for those uses. Submit only material you are entitled to provide and avoid confidential third-party information. Nothing in these terms prohibits honest reviews, lawful complaints, reporting safety concerns or contacting regulators.
17. Misuse, suspension and service changes
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, cheating, security threats or material violations of these terms. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review through support. An urgent protective restriction may precede notice. A suspension does not automatically erase records or extinguish non-waivable rights. If we discontinue a paid service before the agreed access ends, we will address remaining contractual obligations and applicable remedies rather than treating discontinuation as an unconditional right to retain payment.
18. Notices and concerns
Keep your contact information current so we can deliver account and transaction notices. You may save or print these terms and your purchase confirmation. Electronic delivery does not waive any statutory requirement for consent, paper records or a particular form of notice. Contact support with a concern so we can attempt to resolve it; doing so does not prevent urgent relief, lawful payment disputes or complaints to public authorities. These pre-launch terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, an exclusive Pennsylvania venue or a shortened legal claim period. Any future governing-law provision requires legal review and cannot displace mandatory protections.
19. Related policies and severability
The course description and scope notice, Training Disclaimer and Refund Policy explain the service and its limits. The Privacy and Cookies Policies explain information handling; accepting these terms is not blanket consent to optional tracking or new data uses. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law. No general disclaimer overrides an express purchase commitment or non-waivable remedy. Nothing here excludes liability for reckless misconduct where that exclusion is prohibited.
